1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “Time To Kill” and is there any meaning behind it?

When I got started in music I was digging the crossover scene of metal and punk of the 80’s and then just tweaking it a little as music changed. The band got started because the original line up all were out of the music scene at the moment and had some time to kill. We also dig the little double meaning stuff. Our original singer from our basement days, whom never recorded anything or did any shows with us, recommended the band name… thanx Mike!

2. What do you want listeners to take away from your music?

They should ask before taking anything away…

3. How would you describe your music to the average listener?

Old style punk and thrash with a twist of modern metal.

4. What can people expect from your live show?

We just come out and jam, have a little fun, and sometimes break stuff.

5. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, and Volbeat.

6. Any crazy show stories?

Just a few on stage injuries from smashing guitars… a little blood got added to the stage show.

7. What’s your take on the current state of metal?

Good metal and punk is a little more accepted in the general public now because of some of bad stuff getting popular. Hopefully more people discover the good stuff now.

8. What’s the current music scene like there in Wisconsin both locally and state wide?

Locally we are a little behind the times and most people still only dig the cover bands. State wide has many talented bands and a growing scene.

9. What’s your take on legal/illegal music downloading?

At first against it because I cant sell as many CDs anymore but it also helps new bands get there music out there.

10. What’s next for Time To Kill?

Writing and recording new music for a CD, finish another music video, release the DVD, play some local/regional shows until the new CD is done.

11. Any shoutouts?

Oso Brewery in Plover, WI! They make us beer. We shot our video for "99 Bottles" in their brewery.
